measurement of success: no of columnist, register users, visitors, pageview, clicks; visibility in search engine, links and trackback.
technology over design

Part II: Design School and In-Media collaboration plan

1. Visual part

- earlier agreement:

To redesign its corporate identity
(1. logo, present logo. one suggestion: chinese name plus website address; name card version one and two; letterhead)

To design a template to be used for their e-newsletter
(because of technical considerations, the existing mass mail system cannot support graphic design; but if the design is really good we would do fundrasing to reset the mass mailing system.)

To redesign its website in order to increase usability/user-friendliness and give it a more eye-catching and energetic outlook that enhance DIY and interactivity
(as present we don't have budget to re-do our web-design, however, if the design is really good and userfriendly, we can launch a fundraising for actualizing the new design )

- new possible items:

WTO conference-workshop on "new media and social transformation" : conference kit and a citizen reporter notebook
(user friendly in size and design, cheap in production cost: HKD5-10 x 500)
